Due to this part of the game being so short, we're keeping AC and regains incredibly simple:

Sometime within the last week of each month, players are asked to comment with one of the following:

● Any two links of their choice; combined, those threads should contain more than five comments total, by their character's journal.
● Any toplevel, post, or at least two plot contributions (e.g. suggestions to a mod OOC post, a submission to Interwoven Purposes, and/or character interaction with an NPC).
● Summary of their character's time in the game up to that point.

As for Regains, these can come in the form of a special item (that they're unable to simply willpower into existence here) or new ability (that they would not ICly gain, otherwise).

To earn a Regain, the player must submit an additional 10 comments; these comments can come from both the current AC period and any previous months.

May I trade this summary out for the comment count in the post? If so:

Nico arrived roughly 3 years prior to the start of the game.

In the beginning, he was a very quiet young man, with a background that was uncomfortably similar to both Sora's and Kosuke's. It was largely thanks to that, however, that Nico found two people he could relate to. The trio bonded through tough missions, as well as watching many people around them just... die. Then become statues...

He also managed to bond with a young man named Akira, who'd regained a version of his powers from (Akira's) home. It was... not that comfy, for Nico, to have his emotions read so easily. Namely, because that's what the black mark over most of his left arm and left shoulder/shoulder blade does - allow people to feel what he's feeling, as well as know the depths of how he really thinks about them.

And yet... he managed to form a crush on Akira, around the time Will Solace showed up to this world. A Will Solace without any memories of the place Nico assumed to be his "home" for most of his life.

Fast-forwarding through all the battles and waffling and trying to cope with a new Will Solace, and that brings us to the time of Nico realizing he's got a huge crush on this Will... while also liking Akira. This moment was arguably the biggest moment of development for Nico; he sat down and had an actual mature conversation with Will, regarding those feelings.

The two were able to understand each other in ways that Nico doesn't think he ever could have expected. The trust, the warmth, all of it - these became Nico's real home. And... he began thinking he could probably fall in love with Will Solace. From that moment forward, Nico's been letting himself give subtle flirts and expressions of romantic interest, to Akira. Of course, he'd still been working through the insecurities and lingering doubts, with him, until very recently.

Will is the first person he trusted enough to show/explain the black, cursed mark. He was incredibly shy during all of it, but Will only proved he's right to be trusted... and right for Nico. Akira was also allowed to see the mark, of course, not long after TbF started. They're still learning one another, although there's still some pretty significant fear.

Something he'd like to talk to Will about, first, even if the whole ordeal with his mannikin is distracting him. He gained memories of his canon life, realizing that the memories of the facility... might have been something this world gave him. He doesn't understand, yet, what this could mean... but he really hates having to remember two deaths of Bianca.

Granted, did the people in that facility... ever truly exist?
